Top seeds aim for the semis in Manchester

Quarter-Finals Brief
Top seed Camille Serme took out defending champion in the opening match of the day, saving three game balls in the first on the way to a four game win. Paul Coll gained a measure of revenge for his world final defeat to Tarek Momen, capitalising on a 5-0 start to the decider to beat the fourth seeded Egyptian.
Egyptian duo Hania El Hammamy and Mohamed ElShorbagy will face Serme and Coll in the semis after Hammamy eased past compatriot Salma Hany and ElShorbagy beat Joel Makin in four.
There was a trio of Egyptian winners in the evening session – Nour El Tayeb, Karim Abdel Gawad and Marwan ElShorbagy – with a tense five game win over second seed Ali Farag – are joined in the semis by Sarah-Jane Perry, who won her all-British matchup with Tesni Evans.
